I wrote something awhile ago about a very good friend of mine, and as soon as one of my friends saw it, she said that I should try to get it published (this is not someone who will give worthless praise). So, I come to the general public asking your opinion. What should be changed (I already have some ideas, I just wanted to show the origional), any advice at all, and other such things.

I will never say that I miss youCollapse )

Hello. Name's Shady. Joined here a few days ago, but didn't really say anything. ^_^ Friday's challenge was right up my alley, as I was just assigned that exact same assignment from one of my classes anyway (I wonder if the idea was taken from the same book...). Anyway, here are my sentences.Collapse )

Mar. 17th, 2005 @ 10:11 pm Oh I'm sorry.
I forgot today's challenge. Perhaps it's a good day to have a moment of silence for Andre Norton anyway.

Challenges resume tomorrow.

First Sentence Friday- Tomorrow, write out ten sentences meant to open a story or novel.

Lazy Saturday- There will be no regular challenge this day.

Short Story Sunday- I will be posting up all the story generators I know about (please comment if you know of any obscure ones) and you go generate one and write about it. :) More details will be provided on Sunday.

Disclaimer: These challenges are not required. You may post your responses if you wish, but you don't have to.

It's World Building Wednesday!

Disclaimer: No one has to participate in any of the community challenges in order to remain a member here. These are put up for fun and it is not expected of you to post your work if you do not want to.

World building Wednesdays will likely consist of some small aspect of world building. If there's a challenge you'd like to see me stick up, tell me.

Today's world building challenge is... Religion.

Some questions to consider when creating a religion for your story. Click Here.Collapse )
